Visiting a church for the first time can be a little daunting. What should I wear? Where do my kids go? What is the music like? What is the preaching like? These are all normal questions to ask when looking for a new church. Here is a brief overview of what to expect at Calvary.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Calvary, our dress style varies. If you want to wear a suit and tie, go ahead! If polo and jeans more comfortable, you're free to do so.
WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?
We offer Calvary Kids for grades K-5 during the service. There is a sign-in desk for your kids in the foyer. We have a secure, two-part sticker system which only will allow your kids to be signed out by you. The kids will be dismissed part-way through the service. Once service is over, you can head downstairs and pick up your kids from the classroom.
WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE?
Our music worship style includes newer songs as well as old hymns. No matter your preference, we've got you covered.
WHAT IS THE PREACHING LIKE?
Our preaching style is focused on taking what the Bible has to say and breaking it down. Most of the preaching is through a book of the Bible. Expect the sermons to run around 40 minutes. If you would like to sample a sermon, check out our sermon archive here.
Don't run out right away! Please take time to meet some new people if you're okay with that. We hope to see you soon!
